PlayStation Store’s Planet of the Deals promotion is live, with discounted PS4 and PS5 games available for a limited time. Sony lists the promotion for October 21 through November 4, 2026, while noting that regional timing and game selection can vary. For US players, the useful next step is checking the price and edition shown on a US PlayStation account rather than assuming an advertised offer applies everywhere.
When does Planet of the Deals end?
Sony’s announcement gives November 4 as the promotion’s final day and lists an end time of 11:59 p.m. PDT for that region. Confirm the deadline displayed on the individual US product page before leaving a purchase until the last evening. The announcement is a promotion schedule, not a guarantee that every listed product has an identical offer in every territory.
Which games are on Sony’s announcement list?
Sony names Alien: Isolation – The Collection, Titanfall 2 Standard Edition, and A Plague Tale: Requiem among the promotion’s titles. Treat those as starting points for a US store check, not a ranked recommendation or a promise of a particular discount. Match the edition name before comparing offers.
What should you check before buying?
Start with games you already wanted. Open the exact store edition and compare the current US price with your budget. This article does not list dollar prices or discount percentages because those have not been independently checked on US product pages.
Edition names matter. A base game, deluxe edition, upgrade, and DLC bundle can appear close together while including different content. Read the included-items list and confirm whether an upgrade requires ownership of another version. Check the platform label as well: a PS4 listing should not be treated as a PS5 edition unless that entitlement is explicitly included.
Before paying, review your library and any subscription access you currently have. Buying can still make sense if you want a particular edition or access beyond a subscription, but avoid purchasing simply because you overlooked an existing entitlement.
Use the price displayed for your US account.
Base game, DLC, upgrade, or bundle?
Confirm the platform entitlement included.
Check ownership and current subscription access.
A discount is only part of the decision
For a multiplayer game, check whether the features you want require a separate subscription. For an expansion, verify the required base game. For a bundle, compare its contents with what you already own. These checks help distinguish a useful offer from a cheaper listing that does not include what you expected.
If your next purchase depends on what is launching soon, compare your shortlist with our upcoming PS5 releases guide before committing your gaming budget.
