Grand Theft Auto VI is one of the most anticipated releases in gaming, but hype is not a source. This guide separates what Rockstar has confirmed from what remains unknown.
Confirmed information first
Rockstar currently lists November 19, 2026 as the release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its official GTA VI page identifies Vice City, USA, and the state of Leonida as the setting, with Jason and Lucia at the center of the story.
Rockstar’s official page currently lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It does not list a PC version or PC release date, so this guide should not promise a PC launch. Last checked: October 10, 2026. (Rockstar GTA VI page, Rockstar Newswire)

What Rockstar has shown
Official Rockstar material supports discussion of the Leonida setting, Vice City, protagonists Jason and Lucia, and the game’s crime-story premise. Trailer details can be described as shown on screen, but inferred mechanics, map size and PC performance should not be presented as confirmed facts.
PC version and platform questions
As of the last verification date, Rockstar has not listed a PC platform or PC release date on its official GTA VI page. That is not proof that a PC version will never happen; it only means there is no official PC date to publish today. Do not turn retailer listings or anonymous reports into a release announcement.
How to maintain a GTA 6 evergreen page
- Keep an update log.
- Link to official Rockstar announcements.
- Label confirmed facts and speculation separately.
- Replace outdated release information quickly.
- Explain when a trailer supports a claim.
The page should answer the reader’s immediate questions first: release date, platforms, setting, story information and what is still unknown.
Bottom line
GTA 6 content can attract strong search demand, but it needs a strict source policy. Accuracy and visible update dates matter more than repeating every rumour.
